About us

The Oogieloves

The Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure, the world's first interactive family film, one of the widest independent film releases in US history and the first theatrical created for preschoolers & their families. The Oogieloves created a fun and funny way to turn passive viewing into an active experience.

It is a simple story of loving friendship, a surprise birthday party and a BIG adventure…

It’s Schluffy’s birthday and the Oogieloves along with their friends J. Edgar and Windy are organizing a party (Ssshh! it’s a secret)…everything is going along just perfectly until J. Edgar trips and loses the last five magical balloons in all of Lovelyloveville.   The Oogieloves; GOOBIE!, TOOFIE! and ZOOZIE! take action in their own hands and decide to find the magical balloons in time to save their special friend’s party.  Along the way they meet some very interesting characters indeed…

Dotty Rounder… The highly energetic grandmother played by Cloris Leachman who lives in her Treepot in the highest tree in all of Fun Forest.  Dotty loves (is in fact obsessed) with everything and ANYthing round…  Her passion leads to her big interactive song and dance number the “Polkadottie Polka” ("Shake Your Body").

Milky Marvin…the proud owner of Milky Marvin’s Milkshake Manor home of Moola the Milkshake Making Cow played by Chazz Palmiterri.  Marvin really shakes a move when the song and dance man performs the interactive hit “March and Moo.”

Bobby Wobbily played by Cary Elwes is the rhinestone wearing bubble-making cowboy who lives in and works in a very special truck stop.  His two favorite things to do are to make up new ways to blow bubbles and of course to “wobble til you just can’t wobble anymore.” His interactive “Wiggle While You Wobble”. is sure to be a show-stopper.

The incomparable Toni Braxton plays Rosalie Rosebud… Our singing diva extraordinaire with a big case of the interactive sniffle blues performs “Ode to Adelaide” ("The Scratchy Sneezy Cough Cough Song").

Lola & Lero Sombrero performed with the magical comedy of Christopher Lloyd & Jaime Pressly, are the guardians of the Wonder Windmill in Great Grass Lake. With help of their cruise ship sized latin hat (El Sombrero) and their big dance interactive moves in “The Sombrero Tango," The Oogieloves dance and sing their way to the fifth and final magical balloon.

The Oogieloves In The BIG Balloon Adventure is a unique movie experience that allows children to be children, encouraging them to sing and dance with their friends on screen and to “help” move the adventure along.  From the opening title sequence, children are encouraged to take part in the adventure.

This theatrical experience was directed by Academy Award Nominated Matthew Diamond and produced by children's advocate and mega-producer, Kenn Viselman
